Antique Art Nouveau Porcelain Bathroom Set: Toothbrush, Soap & Cream Boxes with Bud Handles – 1910s

A lovely set of three antique porcelain boxes for the bathroom – probably from the 1910s and inspired by elegant Art Nouveau.

The Three Boxes

• Toothbrush box (elongated): with ventilation holes in the lid so remaining water can evaporate
• Soap box (square): also with ventilation holes to keep the soap dry
• Cream box (round): without holes, ideal for creams, cotton pads or cosmetics

Especially charming are the lids with a delicate bud as a handle and the embossed leaves.

• Toothbrush box: 20 x 8 cm, height 8.5 cm
• Soap box: 11.5 x 8.5 cm, height 9 cm
• Cream box: lid Ø 9.5 cm, height 8.3 cm
• Date: approx. 1910–1919 (antique)
• Condition: very good; only the toothbrush box shows wear on the lid edge (see photos)
