A vintage bowl made of robust Ironstone in the English transferware style — with a richly detailed sepia brown decor: Tudor manor house between ancient oaks, horseman at the stone trough, pheasants in the reeds, opulent peony border. The motif is applied as an underglaze — it won't fade and is dishwasher safe. The backstamp reads: C.P. · Ironstone Tableware · English Style · 4-81 · Underglaze (April 1981).

Ironstone (earthenware, more robust than porcelain), dishwasher safe. Underglaze transfer print in sepia brown. Slightly wavy rim. Very good vintage condition: no chips, no cracks, no crazing visible. Slight signs of age after over 40 years. Price is for 1 piece.
