Antique Meat & Poultry Carving Set, Knife and Fork with Wooden Handles – Vintage Farmhouse, Holiday Roast

A beautiful two-piece serving set for meat and poultry – knife and fork for carving the roast. Probably made in Germany or Austria in the first half of the 20th century.

Material & Design

Blade and tines of yellow metal, natural wood handles with embossed ornaments and a notch.

• Condition: excellent for its age; slight darkening of the metal. Sold as is.

Care

Hand wash; do not soak the wooden handles.

Found at the flea market in Gmünd, in a drawer full of old kitchen tools. The handles have grown smooth from many holidays.
