An elegant copper vase in chalice and urn shape — with a flared wavy rim, a round fluted belly, and an ornamental base. The shape follows the Ottoman-influenced decorative style that was very popular in Central European home decor from the 1950s to the 1970s: ornamental vases made of hammered copper sheet, warm in color and pleasantly light in hand.
Material & Condition
Copper sheet, hammered and pressed. The outer surface glows in warm copper-reddish-brown; inside, natural green patina (verdigris) has formed — genuine age chemistry, not a defect. No dents, no cracks, no structural damage. The verdigris can be left as is (authentic character) or gently cleaned. Price is for 1 piece.
