A classic brass teapot with a spherical body, a gracefully curved swan-neck spout, and a foldable bail handle with a turned wooden grip in dark brown. The bottom label identifies it as a product of Nordtek Import Export, W/Germany — a West German giftware wholesaler active from the 1960s to the 1980s. Solid brass craftsmanship, manufactured for the home gift market.
Material & Condition
Brass (copper-zinc alloy) with a turned wooden handle. The exterior surface shows a warm, golden brass patina. There is a small dent on the upper body (visible in the photos, diagonally to the right above the finger in image 11) — no structural damage, but it lends an honest vintage character to the piece. Internal oxidation is typical and expected. Lid fits perfectly. Price is for 1 piece.
Dimensions
- Height: 16 cm (with lid, handle folded down)
- Width: approx. 18 cm (from back of body to tip of spout)
