This delicately crafted vintage brooch comes from the renowned jewelry tradition of Gablonz in Bohemia, a center for ornate costume jewelry in the early 20th century. Typical of this origin is the elaborately designed brass setting with fine ornaments and multi-layered filigree work.
At its center is a large amber-colored glass stone, surrounded by small decorative stones, giving the brooch a warm, elegant aura. Stylistically, the piece can be attributed to late Art Nouveau or early Art Deco, dating from around 1910 to 1930.
The condition is good with minor age-related changes to some small stones, which highlight its authentic vintage character. Overall, a very decorative collector's item from classic Bohemian jewelry production.
