Antique Art Deco (Naturalism) brass picture tree – “Family Tree” display stand for 3 photos, circa 1930/40

This artfully crafted picture tree made of solid brass is a real eye-catcher for any interior. It is cast in the shape of a gnarled tree, its roots forming a stable base. Three oval frames hang from the branches, providing space for portraits of loved ones.

• Symbolism: The tree represents growth, continuity, and family unity.

• Material: High-quality cast brass with a warm, authentic aged patina.

• Use: Perfect as a personal decorative element on a sideboard, mantelpiece, or desk. An ideal gift for family historians or vintage style enthusiasts.

The object probably dates from the 1930s or 1940s . During this period, decorative bronze and brass castings for the home (desk sets, frames) were very popular.

We found it in St. Poelten, still holding three faded photographs — faces nobody knows anymore. The brass tree itself tells of a family that wanted to show its history.
