A red collector plate from the "Coaching Scenes" series by Johnson Brothers, showing a four-horse coach on a cross-country journey – also usable as a dessert plate.
About the Maker
Johnson Brothers was founded in 1883 and belonged to the Wedgwood Group from 1968 to 2015. The Staffordshire firm was known for its early "semi-porcelain" tableware and exported widely to the USA. After Fiskars acquired the Wedgwood Group in 2015, production ended – the plates remain popular collectibles today.
