About Limoges Porcelain

Limoges porcelain is hard-paste porcelain produced in and around the French city of Limoges since the late 18th century. The term refers not to a single maker but to the region. Around 1830, Limoges replaced Paris as the main center for private porcelain manufacturers – and has held that position to this day.

Condition

Very good condition. Due to age, the porcelain is slightly yellowed in a few places – we have deliberately left these traces of time. The small cork stoppers on the underside of the shakers were lost over the years and are easy to replace. Please consider the photos part of the condition description.
